OVERNIGHT SURFACING IMPROVEMENTS AT A96 BUCKIE JUNCTION AT AULTMORE

OVERNIGHT SURFACING IMPROVEMENTS AT A96 BUCKIE JUNCTION AT AULTMORE to start Sunday 18th May

Amey is undertaking overnight surfacing improvements on the A96 Buckie Junction to the north west of Keith at Aultmore from Sunday 18th May to Saturday 24th May.

The £161,000 scheme, which Amey is undertaking on behalf of Transport Scotland, will resurface the A96 at the B9016 (A98) junction for Buckie.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the essential maintenance will be carried out under overnight convoy between 7.30pm and 6.30am each night.

The B9016 junction will be closed during the overnight works.

Southbound and northbound traffic on the A96 that want to exit at the B9016 (A98) junction can take the A98 at Fochabers and access the B9016 near Moray Crematorium.

Work is scheduled to be completed by 6.30am on Saturday 24th May.

The resurfacing will benefit nearly 6,900 vehicles who use this route each day, creating a smoother ride for motorists and reducing the need for ongoing maintenance.

Please note, all schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.
