Latest community engagement initiatives, polls, surveys and request for the community’s views.
One of the main functions of Community Councils is to engage with residents and get their views on various initiatives. This includes policies that the local authority [Moray Council] propose.
The aim of community engagement is to mobilise local residents to achieve long-term and resilient outcomes, relationships, decision-making, implementation of initiatives and to address local issues.
It calls for a multi-layered approach that can be intricate and ever-changing. Trust is a key element in developing long-term and sustainable engagement.
From time-to-time we will be asking for your vies on issues and initiatives, and asking you to complete polls and surveys to help te community council shape its response on your behalf to the local authority.
