SEPA Flooding Consultation update

Flood Risk Management Plans – Community Council update

In my email to community council contacts on 27th January, I promised to provide a pfd of the consultation and the questions in order that the community council could circulate this document to help inform discussion at the next meeting. There may of course be differing views within the community council so can I emphasise that members should not feel constrained to subscribe to the majority view and can complete their own personal response – on-line.

I attach the pdf.

Can I ask that you please consider this at a meeting BUT then complete the consultation on-line rather than send back a completed form.  The on-line consultation benefits from having mapping available that will help in the final on-line submission – it is not possible to include this mapping in the attached form, given the multiplicity of local areas.

The on-line consultation mechanism allows us to efficiently capture views in a way that permits good analysis without burdensome administration.

I’m very grateful for the community council taking the time to consider this important Stage 1 consultation.

As ever, if there are any updates or additions to community council contacts then please do email them to me.

Many thanks,

Peter
