Did you know that one in four people will experience a mental health problem of some kind each year?
Having a designated First Aider for Mental Health within workplaces and community organisations now has the same level of importance as ‘medical’ first aiders, so we are delighted to confirm that we are now able to offer First Aid for Mental Health training alongside our practical first aid and manual handling courses and can deliver a variety of interactive courses around recognising and dealing with mental health issues in your workplace, club or community group, as well as a course which focuses on supporting young people.
Don’t forget that you have the added benefit of knowing that we reinvest the income from your training courses, meaning the money stays right here in Moray and supports local young people and families, which is a big tick for social impact and community wealth building, plus our instructors also have first-hand experience and plenty of anecdotes, which they incorporate in their training, making our courses interesting and dynamic, as well as unique!
Of course, we still run a comprehensive first aid training programme and our 2026 courses at Moray Sports Centre in Elgin are available to book online and include:
• First Aid at Work – Blended & Refresher options (12hrs)
• First Aid at Work + Forestry Blended & Refresher options (12hrs)
• Emergency First Aid at Work (6hrs)
• Emergency First Aid at Work + Forestry (7hrs)
• Emergency Paediatric First Aid (6hrs)
• Paediatric First Aid (12hrs blended)
• Outdoor First Aid (16hrs)
